Brass Machining

Brass Machining

High-speed precision brass turned and milled parts — fittings, nuts, bushings, connectors and contacts.

Overview

Overview

Brass machines faster than almost any metal, with excellent dimensional stability, corrosion resistance and conductivity — ideal for high-volume precision fittings, connectors, valves and electrical parts.

Our brass CNC machining uses free-cutting C3600/C3604 for fast, economical brass machined parts and brass turned parts, with lead-free ECO brass and naval brass for drinking water and marine use.

Frequently asked questions

Frequently asked questions

Why is brass economical for CNC?

Free-cutting brass allows high feeds and speeds, short cycles and long tool life, lowering part cost even for complex shapes.

Can you provide lead-free brass?

Yes. We machine ECO/lead-free and naval brass for drinking-water, plumbing and marine applications.

Can brass parts be plated?

Yes. We offer nickel, tin and chrome plating, or natural brass with an anti-tarnish clear coat.

What is the typical tolerance?

We hold ±0.01 mm on critical features; standard turned tolerances are IT6–IT7.
