Copper Machining
Pure copper (red copper) machined parts — busbars, electrodes, connectors, contacts and thermal components.
Overview
Pure copper has the highest electrical and thermal conductivity of the common engineering metals. We machine copper busbars, electrodes, connectors, contacts, heat sinks and welding components.
Beyond red copper (T2/C11000) and oxygen-free grades, we machine tellurium copper for free machining, chromium-zirconium copper for electrodes, and beryllium copper for spring contacts, with copper CNC turned parts and precision milled features.

Capabilities
Busbars & terminals
Precision copper busbars, lugs, terminals and power connectors.
Electrodes & welding
Chromium-zirconium and other electrodes and contact tips.
Thermal parts
Heat sinks, cold plates and thermal conductors.
Turned parts
Copper pins, tubes, fittings and contacts on CNC lathes.
Specialty coppers
Tellurium, beryllium and oxygen-free copper grades.
Plating / finishing
Tin, nickel, silver plating or bare copper with protection.

Frequently asked questions
Which copper grade is best for conductivity?
Oxygen-free C10100/TU1 or ETP C11000/T2 give the highest conductivity; C14500 tellurium copper trades a little conductivity for easy machining.
Can you make welding electrodes?
Yes. We machine chromium-zirconium and other electrode alloys for resistance welding.
Do you do beryllium copper?
Yes. We machine C17200 beryllium copper for spring contacts and high-strength conductive parts.
Can copper parts be plated?
Yes. We offer tin, nickel and silver plating, or supply bare copper with anti-oxidation protection.
